KYEBI, E/R- An aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) Women Organizer for the Abuakwa South Constituency, Matilda Ohenewaa Birikorang, has called on delegates to elect a bold, hardworking, courageous, and dedicated leader capable of uniting the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to the media after officially declaring her intention to contest the constituency Women Organizer position, Mrs. Birikorang said her decision was motivated by her passion to serve the party, strengthen the women’s wing, and contribute to the NPP’s electoral success.
She stressed the need for committed grassroots leadership that will foster unity, empower women, and effectively mobilize supporters to advance the party’s agenda.
Mrs. Birikorang assured delegates that their concerns and views would be given the needed attention and communicated to the party’s leadership to help build a stronger and more united constituency.
While acknowledging the contributions of previous executives, she said the time had come for fresh energy, innovative ideas, and renewed commitment to reposition the party for victory in the 2028 elections.
Some party members who attended the declaration expressed confidence in Mrs. Birikorang’s leadership abilities, saying her vision and dedication could help strengthen unity and enhance the NPP’s grassroots structures in the Abuakwa South Constituency.
