AHWERASE AKUAPEM, E/R. — The Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, has urged the youth of Ahwerase Akuapem in the Akuapem Traditional Area to take pride in their history and cultural heritage while embracing education, science, technology and innovation to drive community development.

Addressing a durbar of chiefs and people of Ahwerase, the Regional Minister emphasised the need for the youth to strike a balance between preserving their ancestral heritage and acquiring modern education and skills to meet the demands of a changing world.

She noted that the development of every community depended largely on the unity, commitment and collective efforts of its people.
