GOD SUPPORTS THE NEEDY THROUGH PEOPLE — PRESBYTERIAN MINISTER.

AKYEKYESU, E/R– The Koforidua District Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rev. Justice Kwame Asumeng, has emphasized that God demonstrates His love, care, and support for the needy and vulnerable through human beings.

He made the remarks during the dedication of a newly constructed church building for the Presbyterian Church at Akyekyesu in the New Juaben South Municipality of the Eastern Region.

Rev. Asumeng praised philanthropist and Founder of the CA Foundation, Mrs. Cynthia Adjei, for funding the construction of the new chapel after she was touched by the poor condition under which members particularly, the elderly and women had been worshipping in a temporary canopy structure.

Speaking to the media after the dedication ceremony, the District Minister described the donation as “a miracle from God,” stressing that although God is the ultimate provider, He often works through people to bring hope, relief, and comfort to those in need.

According to him, it took remarkable faith for the congregation to continue worshipping under such challenging conditions. He encouraged believers to remain steadfast in their faith, noting that God can transform even the most difficult situations.

Rev. Asumeng reminded Christians that faith in God makes the impossible possible and urged worshippers to continue trusting Him in every circumstance.

Mrs. Cynthia Adjei said the construction of the new church building forms part of her commitment to giving back to society through the CA Foundation.

She explained that she was deeply moved after witnessing the conditions under which the congregation, especially the elderly women, worshipped. Determined to make a difference, she financed the construction of the chapel, which was completed within three to four months.

Mrs. Adjei attributed her achievements to the grace of God, saying the project was her way of expressing gratitude and honouring Him.

She also encouraged Christians to live exemplary lives that would inspire others and attract more people to the Christian faith.
