KYEBI AHWENEASE, E/R- The Ahwenease Development Association (ADA), a community-based development group established in August 2022 has made and continues to make remarkable contributions towards the growth and transformation of Kyebi – Ahwenease a locality in the Eastern Region.
Formed by concerned citizens of the community, the Association was established with the primary objective of championing developmental initiatives and improving the living conditions of residents. Since its inception, ADA has undertaken several impactful projects aimed at improving education, infrastructure, and social welfare within the community.

Among its notable achievements are:
The donation of 60 school desks, five teachers’ tables and chairs valued at GH¢14,000 to the Presbyterian Junior High School
The rehabilitation of the community’s kindergarten and primary school buildings.
The Association has also established a modern ICT training centre equipped with computers and furniture to promote digital literacy among students and residents. The concreting and screeding of the forecourts of the community’s two schools,
Provision of streetlights at the vantage points of the community to improve security and visibility, and finally
Donated a set of football jerseys, footballs, and a television set to support educational and recreational activities in the local schools.

These significant interventions, accomplished within just a few years of the Association’s formation, have earned widespread commendation from residents and stakeholders.
Speaking on behalf of the Association, the Chairperson, Mrs. Charity Anima Offei, expressed gratitude to members and supporters for their commitments to the development of Ahwenease. She appealed to corporate institutions, benevolent organisations, philanthropists, and citizens of Ahwenease both at home and abroad to support the Association’s efforts.

According to her, additional support will enable the Association to undertake more developmental projects that will further accelerate the progress of Ahwenease and contribute to the broader development agenda of the Municipal Assembly and Ghana at large .
